I’m receiving a lot of comments from Mexicans about the poppy we wear close to our hearts. The Americans are surprised that they too wore the poppy after WW11. I’m surprised that this generation didn’t know that.
There are a lot of historic things that today’s generation don’t seem to either know about or care about. The ignorance is sad. I wonder if it’s our education system that’s lacking, or parental leadership … or is it just the changing attitude of society in general?
