Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

  1. Carol! Guess what! I saw my first bumble bee today. He was huge. Bigger than my thumb! Yay, I love spring! Your photos are … stunningly striking~!

  2. I like that verse, too, Shari. Such a definitive promise for us!

And thanks, Sandra. The bokeh effect of the background is interesting on that one, but totally accidental. I had the camera on automatic and zoomed to something in the distance, only to have it focus on those branches instead. An unintended bonus. Oh, and my periwinkle are finally blooming — posted a shot in Flickr recently.

Thanks for visiting here, Linda, and for your comment on the verse.

Joylene, I celebrate the return of your bumble bees with you! Definitely a sign that spring has arrived at Cluculz Lake! 🙂

  3. We’re already well into spring. The flowering trees and forsythia are past their prime, while most of the trees are dressed in their summer clothes. My heat is off, and it won’t be long before we need the A/C.

I'd love to hear from you!
