Totally irreverent but a little lovable, the Grinch who tried unsuccessfully to steal Christmas is an annual tradition in our household. We’ve seen all versions of the movie but every year the old Dr. Seuss cartoon is dragged out as the favourite. Here’s a little “green” preview for you.
Love it! Have you seen Jim Carrey’s version? cute.
My favourite Christmas movie has got to be The Polar Express. Fabulous. #2 is A Christmas Carol, pretty well any version, tho I do like the 1938 one. #3 would be It’s a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart.
Ah, now I’m in the mood. Thanks, Carol.
Yes, I’ve seen it. It was good but I still like the Seuss cartoon better, probably because I sat through it so many times with my children. I liked The Polar Express, too. We must be children at heart. 😉
I have to agree the Grinch is pretty special. It’s been around forever.
It has indeed — the book came out in 1957 and the first TV special was in 1966. Does that date me, or what?
